We Follow, We Become One, We Become None

One of my final installs of college. A time laps piece over 4 hours, made with cedar planks, beeswax, a heat lamp and cloth. The hands melted from the middle and radiated outward, and leaked onto the floor below.

We Hurt, We Heal

This is a sculpture I've been working on for a while based on the prompt "Points of Impact". Its made up of 23 beeswax sculptures of a female figure progressing from left to right, standing on an altar/mantle. As they progress from the left, I carved blue and red hatch marks into them representing physical and emotional injuries, and the yellow cross hatching represents healing. Getting back into my old obsessive way of working feels really good, if a bit detrimental to my health.

Mischief Managed.

Really fun SXSW. Last spring break of my college career, so had to make it count! Got to see Diplo, Chromeo, The Kills, The Dodos, Two Door Cinema Club, Middle Brother, Twin Shadow, and lots more.

Always and Nothing

Some new cards I've been experimenting with. Pretty excited about the idea of hand drawing a bunch of fantastic things and then making high quality copies so they're cheaper and easier to sell in bundles. plus they're so much fun to make!

Phenomenon

Our installation teacher handed out some flashlights and told us to go have fun and come back when we had discovered something cool. Got some great pictures, new classes have a requirement of experimentation no matter what the results are, love it.
